Jay Region

As you head west from Wilmington, NY you will be welcomed to Jay and Upper Jay, NY. These communities are on the shore of the East Branch of the Ausable River. While the East Shore does not provide the trout fishing known on the West there are still opportunities to toss lines in and explore the river. These areas offer the opportunities to find properties on the river but there is also a major subdivision just off of the river and town that is made up of hundreds of homes known as “Ausable Acres”. Many of these properties are one acre lots hence the name Ausable Acres. These homes throughout this subdivision are part of a private residential community that offer an HOA that covers trails, park area and even a small lake for the residents to enjoy.
