Saranac Lake
An artsy, community driven town, Saranac Lake is a little slower paced than some of the other more touristy Adirondack towns in the area. It features a charming downtown with Lake Flower as its focal point. With several marinas, Saranac Lake is a great starting point to experience the 25 miles of interconnected waterways that can take your explorations all the way to Middle Saranac Lake.
A variety of properties are typically available in Saranac Lake. Historic & luxurious Adirondack Great Camps are situated on Upper Saranac Lake, while other properties are more central to town. Charming village homes near downtown Saranac Lake also offer unique Adirondack styling. Some have a variety of porches leftover from Tuberculosis care cottage days which make it easy to enjoy being outside throughout the seasons.
Some other communities that offer easy access to Saranac Lake include: Bloomingdale, Vermontville and Lake Clear.
