Turtle Pond

Turtle Pond is a 6-acre pond that can be found as you travel out of Saranac Lake toward Lake Placid. This pond is similar to Moody Pond where there is privately owned shoreline as well as public access.

This pond is another great waterway to enjoy the beauty of the Adirondacks with a variety of animals to see. Additionally, this pond holds yellow perch, pumpkinseeds and black crappie for anglers. Ice fishing is also. permitted on this pond.

This pond is close to the outer section of the Saranac Lake Rails-to-Trail pathway. There is a parking area for the public to enjoy exploring this trail on foot or bike.
